Highlights: After a great qualifying in the wet, the Renaults of Alonso and Fisichella were 1 and 2, with Schumacher starting back in 6th. With rain on Sunday, Alonso got off to a blistering start, but lost his lead after a tire change.Race result:

1. M. Schumacher (Ferrari)
2. Alonso (Renault)
3. Fisichella (Renault)

Alonso and Schumacher are now tied in the driver’s championship with 116 points, with 2 races to go. In the constructor’s championship, Renault now leads Ferrari by 1 (179 to 178).
