First measurable snow of the season

I woke up this morning to an unexpected sight outside – a nice thin blanket of snow. Unexpected for me, since I went to be early last night (nagging cold / flu) and missed the late news and weather report.With Thanksgiving tomorrow, it’s a nice reminder of the season.

UPDATE: with a little morning sun, all traces of snowfall were gone by lunch time. Oh well, here’s to hoping for a white Christmas.
