2005 F1 Round 3 of 19: Bahrain

Formula 1 continues to be good watch this season. Some may say the rules changes have eliminated ‘true’ competition, but any time new strategy enters the mix to make things more interesting and entertaining, I call it a good thing.
Installment 3 of 18, in Bahrain, just finished this morning and the results are great (and not just because Michael Schumacher failed to finish – in the new 2005 Ferrari, no less). I’m beginning to find a new favorite driver in Fernando Alonso, and not just because he’s winning.

A long 3-week break before the next race at Imola, San Morino – Ferrari’s home turf – on Sunday, April 24. This one’s being televised on CBS (instead of SpeedTV).
