2005 F1 Round 4 of 19: San Marino

Incredible. Simply incredible. Any who’s complained that very little ‘racing’ goes on during an F1 race wasn’t watching the last 12 laps of today’s race in San Marino.
To his credit, Michael Schumacher came up from a 13th place starting position to challenge Fernando Alonso for the win. (And, one wonders what the result would have been had Schumacher not botched his second qualifying session, putting him in that 13th grid spot).
The last 12 laps had Schumacher and Alonso nose to tail in some of the best racing seen in a while - with Alonso holding him off. Great stuff.
I wasn’t too keen on watching the race on CBS (as opposed to SpeedTV). Next up, Spain on 08-May (which, again, seems to be on CBS 12:00-2:00 PM Central).
