It is a common belief that 1 human year is equal to 7 dog years. Well, 1 Tom year is equal to 4 human years.
I am a leap year baby (i.e., born on the 29th of February)….and I don’t get a real birthday this year (or, for that matter, the next 2 years as well). I have a very brief celebration in that fleeting nano-second between Feb 28 and Mar 1.
I am now 10.25 Tom years old.
After missing last year, we re-started our Valentine’s Day tradition. This year, the Daddy-Daughter Dance was held at Rose School, so things were a bit more familiar and there were many friends for the girls to run around with (and many familiar dads for Dad to chat with). Allison and Emily looked wonderful in their new outfits - Annie took it pretty well that she’s still a bit young to attend. She and Mom had a nice quiet evening at home with popcorn and a movie.
