Long time no post
…so much for this journal being a stream of consciousness - not much of a stream, not much consciousness.
Automotive passion has returned. After the 540, I thought I’d ’simplify’ things a bit with the Element. While it was wonderful and delivered on its design intent, it didn’t do much to stir my automotive ‘fun’ desires. I drove around unfulfilled…..Lupita tired of me surfing each night to the various car sites….maybe a new TSX, maybe a used Audi A6 4.2, S4, S8, A8….the list went on and on.
A few weeks back, on my way out to lunch I noticed a new VW R32 on the local VW dealer’s lot. After lunch I had to stop in for a test drive. Wonderful…..I was hooked and put down a deposit. Coming back in the following day to finalize the deal, I couldn’t come to an agreement. But, it was in my veins.
Last week, I resumed contact with the local Mitsubishi dealer (I had called about an EVO RS a while back). Well, they had a silver Evo in their showroom which had been there for a while and I decided to go in for a look.
Well, here is the result.
